The position
As our new UX/UI Designer, you will be driving user experience and design end-to-end, including discovery, ideation, conceptualizing, detailed design, prototypes and validation by facilitating communication with key stakeholders to bridge the gap between visual design, functional development and content. This is a 12-month maternity cover position.
Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gain insights into user needs and behaviours. 
• Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions. 
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to illustrate design concept and user flows. 
• Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers to create cohesive user experiences. 
• Contribute to the maintenance of design systems to ensure consistency across products (Figma, Miro, Azure DevOps).

Qualifications 
To be successful in this role, you:

• Hold a Bachelor or M.Sc. degree within a relevant field.
• Have at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience within UX/UI design.
• Can facilitate workshops with various stakeholders.
• Have basis understanding of the steps that go into software development.
• Are fluent in both English and Danish.

Proficiency in industry tools such as Figma will complete the profile, while knowledge of agile development processes is an advantage.

You approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity and a positive attitude. You are expected to be self-directed, but also collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders. Most importantly though is having an open mind-set to learn and apply new skills within software development.

About the department  
The position is anchored in the Manufacturing Tech & Innovation department within Emerging Technologies, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing approach by creating a fully data driven and continuous process for oral tablet formulation and optimise the manufacturing production and analysis from end to end. We aim to create a new paradigm that will alter the approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalising the processes.  

The Manufacturing Tech & Innovation consist of highly skilled colleagues with different scientific backgrounds ranging from Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Front-end developers, and UX/UI designers. The department is characterized by being young, friendly and energetic. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest techniques and software to draw greater insights and future predictions from the data and thus making a significant impact on how we manage the future manufacturing operation.
