The position
As our new UX/UI Designer, you will be driving user
experience and design end-to-end, including discovery, ideation,
conceptualizing, detailed design, prototypes and validation by
facilitating communication with key stakeholders to bridge the gap
between visual design, functional development and content. This is
a 12-month maternity cover position.

To be successful in this role, you:
Proficiency in industry tools such as Figma will complete the
profile, while knowledge of agile development processes is an
advantage.
As a person you are an ambitious and innovative
team player who has a result-oriented way of working. You possess
strong creative, technical, and problem-solving skills. You
approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity and a positive
attitude. You are expected to be self-directed, but also
collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders. Most importantly
though is having an open mind-set to learn and apply new skills
within software development.
About the department
The position is anchored in the
Manufacturing Tech & Innovation department within Emerging
Technologies, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing
approach by creating a fully data driven and continuous process
for oral tablet formulation and optimise the manufacturing
production and analysis from end to end. We aim to create a new
paradigm that will alter the approach to drug development by
redesigning and digitalising the processes.
The Manufacturing Tech & Innovation consist of highly
skilled colleagues with different scientific backgrounds ranging
from Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data
Scientists, Front-end developers, and UX/UI designers. The
department is characterized by being young, friendly and
energetic. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest
techniques and software to draw greater insights and future
predictions from the data and thus making a significant impact on
how we manage the future manufacturing operation.
