About the job
You will be part of a management team, and you will primarily manage technicians (marine engineers) and craftsmen. Together, we are proud of our quality mindset, our ambitious results, and the work environment we support and maintain in our teams.
The position demands a lot of change management, and we need you to inspire and facilitate that journey, both towards employees, in your management group and towards management. Leading by example and showing us how results can be made in other, more effective ways, with new approaches and technology, is essential.
Your first focuses will be to set a direction for Life Cycle Management of equipment, projects - ensuring system availability - and structures for day-to-day maintenance - ensuring compliance in every aspect.
Down the road, you will have strengthened the collaborative setup for maintenance, providing frameworks that we may have never seen before, but that considers all the modern options for knowledge sharing, method development, process modelling and so forth. To do this, you will have to draw on other teams and departments, while ensuring that daily operations are never compromised in our pursuit of future solutions. We expect you to contribute to the management team in a way that maintains a strong collaborative spirit and the effectiveness necessary to deliver on our mutual ambitions.
